Pencils of Superman Versus Darkseid Pin-Up

My first public display of superhero pin-up. (I'm not counting the numerous Batman drawings done with crayons back in the first grade.)

I'll have digital prints of this pencil at the next comic con I attend as an exhibitor.

Frank at MoCCA Arts and Comics Fest 2008

Tis that time again: MoCCA Arts and Comics Fest. It's cool, it's inexpensive, and it's sooooo much fun.

I'll be there with copies of Buenas Noches, Wish, and high quality prints of my watercolor paintings.

You can find me at booth B39.

B39 .B39.
Such a pretty, pretty rhyme.
B39. B39.
Gotta go while I still have time.
B39. B39.
Man, I can't believe this line.
B39. B39.
Wow, these comics are so fine.

Preparing for MoCCA Arts and Comics Fest 2008: Hulk painting in progress

MoCCA isn't exactly the scene for superheroes but I'm so stoked about this painting that I want to show folks anyway. Here it's partially inked.

Preparing for MoCCA Arts and Comic Fest 2008: Buenas Noches

Preparing for this year's MoCCA Arts and Comics Fest took over my life - at least for this month.

These are a couple of pages (page 8 & 9) from the surreal, absurd, and amusing comic Buenas Noches written by James Spruill and illustrated by me.

Buenas Noches, along with my own comic The Phenomenal Jock, will debut at the fest.

There'll also large and small prints of my watercolor paintings. I'll post samples of those soon.

Stay tuned for more stuff.
