The world will end on April 2012…

A primer for the coming Armageddon, Nomads takes readers on a journey into a post-apocalyptic landscape through the creative, terrifying and sometimes perverse minds of today’s up-and-coming cartoonists.

Michael LaRiccia, Jose “Dondi J” Carmona, Nik Moore, Dave McKenna, Jonathan “Swifty” Lang, Fred Noland and Frank Reynoso will thrill you, chill you, and even tickle you.

Nomads: Tales from the Edge of the World will debut at MoCCA Fest April 28th and 29th. Buy tickets now or you’ll be left outside crying.

For a behind-the-scenes look at the comic visit our Facebook page. And while you’re at it, LIKE it because you know you do.

The Anti-Bully Project and Documentary

The trailer and the project speak for themselves.

More info on the anti-bullying campaign at their site. It might take a moment for the homepage to load.

Unfortunately, the R rating for this film means that it can't be shown in place where they need to be seen most: in schools.

My new site, new content

My amazingly talented girlfriend Irina Ivanova gave my website a major overhaul. Included are illustrations I did for Mayfair Games' recently released game Rocket Jockey.

This speeding ship was based on a design by Cliff Chiang (artist for the current Wonder Woman series for DC Comics).

The site also has a new editorial illustrations gallery with work I've done for magazines such as Nueva Sociedad and NACLA (North American Congress on Latin America) and a brand new art direction gallery featuring work from my years as art director for The Indypendent.

We'll let you know when the comics gallery is up.

My illustrations in Mayfair Games' Rocket Jockey

"It's 150 years in the future and mankind has spread throughout the solar system. To supply far-flung colonies, they look to the Rocket Jockeys!"

Mayfair Games rolls out their latest game: Rocket Jockey with artwork by Cliff Chiang (artist of current Wonder Woman series) and myself! Cool visuals and galaxy spanning adventure make this game a must have.

You can see samples of the illustrations I did for the game at my site.

Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and order the game at Mayfair Games' site.

Changing Gears

It's been a while since I've posted anything for many reasons, both good and not so good. So, rather than me post the occasional illustration or comic work I've done, I've decided to change the format of this blog to a more general blog, which hopefully will mean more consistent blogging and moreover, amazing content. (At the very least content that I think is amazing.) For example, this image which I came across through everyone's favorite cultural receptacle, Facebook.

I don't know anything about Lurker Films, the company that produced this image, but it definitely got my attention.
